The Turbo-TOC® KL5S2-001 removes harmful particulate and water from turbine lube oil.  Fixed flow rate is 5 gpm (19 lpm).  The KL5S2-001 is sized for use with turbine oil reservoirs up to 600 gallons (2,270 liters).  The KL5S2-001 is a complete pre-engineered skid mounted unit with integral oil pump, oil heater, control panel, filtration vessel, and water removal vessel.

Prefilter Element

Prefilter Element filtration media uses inert fibers that remain joined with special bonding agents that are unaffected in lube oil.  The fibers maintain a fixed pore structure throughout its filtration service life.  The fibers are configured to create a high surface collection area.

Coalescer Element

Designed and constructed with high surface area, multi-layered fiberglass fibers for high efficiency water removal. 

Separator/Postfilter Element

Combination water separating and post filtration element provides water separation properties and final particulate filtration.  Postfilter Element filtration media uses inert fibers that remain joined with special bonding agents that are unaffected in lube oil. The fibers maintain a fixed pore structure throughout its filtration service life.  The fibers are configured to create a high surface collection area.

Controls Interface

System is supplied with controls such as starting, stopping, and temperature control.  In addition, system is equipped with indicator lights for high differential pressure (DP switch), high pump suction (vacuum switch), and low oil flow (flow switch)
